New RA Opens in Austin, Texas!
It’s time to RA’ck and roll in Austin as RA Sushi brings its creative sushi, inventive cocktails and RA’ckin vibe to the city when its newest restaurant makes its debut downtown. When the restaurant, located at 117 West 4th Street, Suite 300, opens on Monday, Oct. 19, a portion of grand opening day sales will benefit Boys & Girls Clubs of the Austin Area, the leading youth development agency devoted to providing hope and opportunity to children between the ages of 6 and 18.
Founded on the premise of delivering delicious food, imaginative drinks and hip vibe in a modern Japanese setting, RA Sushi complements the sophisticated, yet fun food scene that has been exploding in Austin.
“RA Sushi’s splash onto the Austin food scene is the perfect fit for a city where diners are constantly pushing their taste buds to the flavor limit,” said Mike Johnson, RA Sushi’s vice president of Operations. “Guests can expect an exhilarating dining adventure from the moment they arrive. RA Sushi caters to all tastes, offering many creative takes on traditional Japanese favorites, in a hip setting.”
Like the array of dining options that have made Austin a hotspot for foodies, RA Sushi presents a full-on immersion experience. Diners will have a lot to savor – from the restaurant’s signature Viva Las Vegas Rolls and RA’llipop to Blushing Geisha, Fuzzy Momo Bellini and other flavor-infused cocktails. The RA’ckin vibe is celebrated with contemporary music, friendly servers, and drinks fresh to the cocktail scene.
Along with its Japanese-inspired cuisine and specialty drinks, the 6,163-square-foot restaurant will boast special design features, including a dining room lit in the restaurant’s signature red hue, a fish-covered sushi bar and a RA’ckin patio with fire pits.
With the addition of the Austin location, RA Sushi will operate six restaurants in Texas, including two in Houston and three in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area.
